SANCA Eastern Gauteng started in 1992 when two organizations, SANCA Reiger Park and SANCA Vosloorus merged. The
merger was necessitated by the need to service broader communities instead of one ethnic group being service by its little
Organization. This brought to existence the following offices:
v Boksburg office constituted of three satellite offices in Vosloorus, Katlehong, Thokoza, Geminston and Alberton
v Geluksdal office constituted of three satellite offices in Brakpan, Kwathema and Springs
v And SANCA Nigel
VISION
SANCA Eastern Gauteng has its vision to be the most effective Organisation in the field of prevention
and treatment of alcoholism and drug dependence in the Eastern Gauteng
MISSION
To address alcoholism and drug dependence through the provision of specialized, accessible and
affordable development, prevention and treatment service to all the people of the Eastern Gauteng,
thereby enhance the quality of life and restoring the self-respect and dignity of persons affected by
alcohol and drug dependence. To as far as possible and practical, make available and to share its
expertise and specialized knowledge and services with all interested parties regionally and
provincially.
